What is SIKO?

​

  • Training model to practice taking blood samples and making intravenous injections

  • Hand-made replica out of silicone that corresponds to the natural rabbit ear in shape and size

  • Cast-in tubes simulate the blood essels and behave close to reality with regards to resistance during needle injection and blood withdrawal

  • Blood flow is simulated and controlled manually using connected syringes

  • Injection holes can be refilled and repaired several times

  • Suitable for medical students and nurses, practitioners in human and veterinary medicine, or research

  • Allows the trainee to gain confidence and precision for subsequent work with syringes on living animals
